To celebrate its upcoming launch, the company is hosting a series of short-term competitions called ICE Rink Short Races. Across the three-day event, the supplier will run eight races in total – six on day one, six on day two, and two on day three.

The company is offering a variety of prizes to those that win, while a large digital leaderboard lets participants check their position throughout the contests.

Our captivating CashDays promotion makes its 2023 debut in February with an enhanced €80,000 prize pool on offer.

The monthly tournament continued to attract the attention of a wide audience across 2022, with the promotion enjoying 25% growth in participants and a 30% climb in bets placed.

Playson, the fast-growing digital entertainment supplier has agreed its latest content integration deal in Switzerland after securing a new partnership with Grand Casino Baden, one of the country’s largest online casino operators.

The latest deal sees Playson integrate its popular suite of casino games with the operator’s online brand Jackpots.ch, including recent releases Lion Gems: Hold and Win, Wolf Power Megaways™ and Diamond Fortunator: Hold and Win.

Grand Casino Baden is a land based and B2C operator that functions in the regulated Swiss market, the company offers a range of popular casino games.

The Jackpots.ch brand was the first online casino in Switzerland, as well as the first site to go live via the Gamanza platform. The Gamanza Group has been owned by the Stadtcasino Baden Group since 2021.

The current partnership allows the supplier to meet its elevated aspirations to deliver captivating titles and immersive promotional tools to more players across regulated markets.

Last year saw one of Playson’s most popular slots, Buffalo Power: Hold and Win, given a festive makeover and received critical acclaim. It illustrated that when done correctly, transforming an existing title for the Christmas period can reinvigorate a game’s appeal with players, providing them with a new experience during the holiday season.

Fast forward 12 months and Buffalo Power: Christmas is once again grabbing the attention of Playson fans this holiday season as they look to enjoy the very best in casino entertainment during the most wonderful time of the year.

The game marked the first time Playson had developed a Christmas-themed slot. Given the company’s extensive portfolio of slots, deciding which existing title would be given the festive treatment proved to be a hard decision, according to Playson’s Nikolay Illiustrov, Head of Games.

“There were discussions as to whether Solar Queen or Cleopatra would serve as a good fit for a Christmas makeover,” says Illiustrov. “In the end, we felt that our Buffalo character would be the best option, particularly as Santa’s iconic beard would look best on this stunning creature!”

Once a Playson game had been chosen, attention turned towards adapting the gameplay to ensure that it kept the core characteristics of what made it so popular in the first place while adding seasonal elements to make it as Christmassy as possible.

The initial part of the development process was centered on the soundtrack. “After we heard what our genius sound producer created, we were very impressed,” says Illiustrov. “He took great care to keep the original style while infusing it with Christmas jolly sounds.”

Alongside the most obvious difference with the Buffalo character donning Santa’s iconic red hat and white beard, other subtle changes were made to the gameplay, including:

• An animated snowy background to sprinkle the gameplay with festive spirit
• Decorated gameboard with baubles, candy canes, holly, presents, and ribbons 
• Addition of advent wreaths within the Bonus Game

According to Illiustrov, the Playson team’s ability to balance the sufficient adjustments required to adjust the original proved vital.

“It was a challenge to blend the new elements and not have it ruin the original that is loved by so many players,” he says. “However, the end result proved to be a masterpiece, and it became a true seasonal hit of 2021. We’re excited to have brought this acclaimed slot back and seen it has already brought great entertainment for so many players this Christmas time.”

Buffalo Power: Christmas is once again available across a host of online casinos within regulated markets worldwide. Inevitably, the game will bring festive cheer to the masses this holiday season.

Which brings me onto Oleksandr Honcharuk, who we will never forget. Our Product Owner and good friend tragically lost his life whilst fighting in Ukraine. We should all raise a glass in honour of this great man.

Playson, the fast-growing digital entertainment supplier, has boosted the reach of its slots portfolio in Italy after going live with the content operator, E-Play24.

The new partnership with the Italian licensee will see Playson’s slots become more widely available within the regulated market, with E-Play24 operator partners now able to launch its range of quality titles.
