There have been many memorable highlights throughout 2023 for us, with the most recent news that Playson has been awarded a Gibraltar B2B license truly is the cherry on top of the cake. Obtaining approval for this key license opens the door for significant new opportunities next year and was only made possible thanks to the incredible work undertaken by the fantastic team of Playsoners – a big thanks to you all!
We have met many challenges head-on over the past 12 months, and there are many outstanding achievements to reflect upon which are listed below. Our success would not be possible without the continued support of our partners – we truly value our relationships and once again thank each and every one of you.
- Claimed five industry awards, including a spectacular double win at the prestigious EGR B2B ceremony, scooping the Employer of the Year and Slot Supplier accolades
- Entered the Hungarian iGaming market and signed agreements with 15 new partners worldwide
- Released 21 epic new games, bolstering our captivating Hold and Win series of titles with the top-performing launches of Coin Strike, Energy Coins and Royal Joker. Gameplay across all titles has been enhanced with the addition of the Turbo Spin and Hold for Spins features
- Updated the xEye Viewboard for partners, delivering greater insight by creating the Games Area to collect all the latest data and information on all our content
- Launched Short Races, a tool designed to enhance player acquisition and retention with quick-fire tournaments. Our biggest ever promotion prize pool also went live with players winning a share of €4,000,000
- Employed Playsoners across Gibraltar, Finland, Philippines, Isle of Man and Brazil, strengthening our family network around the world
- Continued the successful Playson & FRIENDS initiative for partners, with four celebrations held in a quartet of Europe’s most vibrant cities
- Introduced a quicker and more stable operation on our cutting-edge xPlatform’s game servers, whilst also establishing a Premium Support hub to increase Playson’s technical help
- Modernised our game engine in Q3.
Of course, the ongoing war in Ukraine means over half of our team continue to work within challenging conditions.
Words cannot truly express my gratitude to them, as they all continue to work tremendously hard and ensure our business grows and operates as normally as possible. You are all heroes in my eyes.
Our commitment to supporting those affected by this conflict is steadfast. Over the past year, Playson has contributed over €130,000 to various charities, a testament to our solidarity with Ukraine. But the need is vast, and our contribution, though significant, is just a fraction of what's required.
Beyond financial support, our team's spirit of volunteerism shines brightly. Many devote personal time to fundraising, coordinating aid, and directly assisting frontline efforts. We remember and honor a colleague, a true hero, who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom 18 months ago. Their memory strengthens our resolve.
